July light-weight day makeup routine!

Hey everyone! Today I’m offering you a wee little tutorial on a new look I’ve been a fan of during the summer days when I want to get ready fast. This is also pretty great for days when it’s hot because it’s pretty melt-proof so it’s a great one to try!

So I started off straight from the shower with my sainsburys SPF 15 day cream – light weight and a great moisturiser for during the day because of the added SPF! This one also doesn’t dry too fast so for days when I’m not wearing foundation it’s pretty great to blend my co cleaner into! So the next step is concealer – I used the classic Collection Lasting Perfection concealer to just quickly cover my under eyes and a couple of blemishes and then set it all with some basic translucent powder.

I then thought I looked super pale so I went in with the sleek blush in suede as a kind of all-round bronze all over my face and then added some collection blush in the shade cheeky to add some pink in there!

I then moved on to brows where I just used a tiny bit of the wax from the rimmel brow this way set (thankfully I’m not needing much these days because of my successful threading and tinting! Check here for more on that!). I then added a flick of the collection 24h extreme liner onto my top lid, normally I go all out and blend some kohl on my bottom lashes too but I wanted to keep that fresh faced look rather than the smokey eye so top lash line only today! I then topped it off with my topshop doe eyed lashes mascara (I will never not be in love with this stuff)!

Finally, on my lips I used the Loreal Colour Riche Exclusive Nudes in the shade Barely Greige by JLo (always forget that name!!) and away we go.

This look pretty much requires no upkeep and stays in place well so it’s a real winner for summer! And here it is:

Shocked that I didn’t use any eyeshadow?! Me too!! Hope you enjoyed this post minus the usual naked palette appearance!

Love, S x
