Autumn Everyday Makeup

 Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

So now that we’re well and truly in the depths of autumn (possibly bordering on winter) I thought I’d share with you my current everyday makeup for the autumn.

Of course it features winged liner and a berry lip – which I’m sure you’ve seen a thousand times but I wanted to show you what I’ve been using recently and I’m gonna provide a lip option for a more dressed down and a more dressed up option! Let’s go:

So for the face: I started with my Garnier Moisture Match Moisturiser for dull skin which I love because it soaks in super easy with it being a gel and feels really light and wakes you up! I then went in with my No.7 Superlight Foundation in the shade Calico (the lightest they do ha ha) and apply a thin layer all over. I blend that out then add some of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer under my eyes because I like the thick consistency for not moving all day and add the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer on any spots and blemishes (having a break out at the moment so forgive me for this one). I then set the whole thing with some neutral Natural Collection Powder. I then used my old faithful Sleek Blush in suede as a bronzer across cheeks and cheek bones and then popped some Collection Blush in cheeky on the apples of my cheeks.

Regarding the eyes, I started with the brows and used the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow Pencil to fill in any sparse bits, to make it look like I have hairs there, then fill in my entire brows and shape with the powder from the Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow kit. I then sweep the top right shade of the Next Eyeshadow Quad in dark brown all over my eyelid, and place some on my bottom water line too. I blend a tiny bit of the lightest shade in this quad in the corner of my eye and brow bone and that’s it for shadow! I’ve been going super light on eyeshadow this season! But I do like to go in with the dramatic liner so I use the Collection 24 Hour Wear Eyeliner to line my top lash line and do a dramatic cat eye flick. I then finish the look with my sturdy old Topshop Doe Eyed Lashes Mascara for a wow effect(which I swear by by the way) and that’s the eyes done!

Finally we come to the lips. Now for the more casual, easy going ‘I can eat and drink with no worries’ daytime look then I suggest the MUA lipstick in shade 11 which is my new favourite nude EVER. Definitely going to be in this months favourites and I’ve only used it twice so far! For the more dramatic and bold look I’d go for the MUA lipstick in shade 1 which is a lovely dark maroon red berry shade perfect for the autumn! If I’m feeling really autumnal I’ll mix this with a little of the Avon Lipstick in deep Orchid to darken it a bit further! I’ve actually found that this MUA lipstick lasts longer than you expect but it does need a touch up in the day, so I prefer to wear it to uni on days where I’m just in for a couple of hours and won’t need to touch it up.

So that’s everything! Hope you’ve enjoyed, and I’ll see you next week!

Love, S x
